A gigantic landslide that buried a highway, uprooted homes and rerouted a river in Washington state's Cascade Range left hundreds of smaller victims: fish.

And while this may free state funds for repairs, homeowners could still be left...more out in the cold. Several homes along State Route 410 have been condemned due to the damage suffered in the slide. And as Action News found out, this is one act of mother nature their insurance may not cover.
Families near the Naches River and Highway 410 are starting to rebuild after a landslide changed the landscape forever. The slide started early Sunday morning. By the time it was over, nearly a half mile of the highway was gone, the river had been diverted and was flooding the adjacent valley.
