SELAH -- It's been months, even years, since Selah's fire department applied for federal grants, but the waiting game continues.

The ballots are out. And many school districts are hoping you'll vote yes on a replacement levy. We've looked at a number of levy issues this week, and tonight found out why Selah Schools can't afford to lose another teacher.

While most cities are laying off staff, freezing salaries and cutting budgets, the city of Selah is looking at a hefty pay raise for it's city supervisor.

At least one person is dead after a car plunged off a cliff near Selah.

Accused of running a "puppy mill". A Selah couple wants to board dogs again. They were told to get rid of the dogs in January. Tom and Sharon Beatty didn't have a kennel license despite breeding dogs for 30 years. They got that license and animal rights groups got upset. But who's telling the "real" story?

SELAH -- Times are good for a Lavender Farm in Selah.

It's the middle of summer, and the kids are already bored. So what can you do? Take them to Selah to check out the Wenas Creek Mammoth project.

The Selah school board just decided on their interim Superintendent.

And then there were two. The Selah School District interviewed its final two candidates for the interim superintendent position.

Selah needs a new Super. With Deborah Howard, school superintendent, leaving at the end of this month, the district is hard at work trying to get someone in quick.
