KIMA has learned the relationship between city leaders in Tieton and some tax payers has frozen over. The dispute is over snow removal rights. A new ordinance prohibits anyone from shoveling the snow into the street. Some are asking for a little flexibility. But Action News discovered, the city simply isn't interested.

KIMA has learned Tieton taxpayers have not been paying their fair share for outside fire protection, even though they've been using that protection for decades. Now, the fire district is saying enough is enough: either pay up, or do it yourself. And as Action News discovered, city leaders are hoping voters will agree to foot the bill.

A real stink at the Cowiche Sewer District plant. No one has been in control of that plant for months. It could create a real mess, even for those of us downstream.

The discount store has two things going for it, it's the main store in Tieton and it's a bargain. They claim they can cut your bill by half, so why is this store in danger of shutting down?
